Credit card payment — important information

Please read the following before completing your payment.

 

How your payment is processed

Credit card payments are collected securely through JotForm, a third-party form provider, and processed via Moneris Solutions, a certified payment gateway. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card information on our website or servers.

By submitting your payment, you consent to your payment information being shared with JotForm and Moneris for the sole purpose of completing your transaction. Moneris is a PCI DSS–compliant payment processor and operates under the Code of Conduct for the Credit and Debit Card Industry in Canada.

 

Credit card handling fee

A 2% credit card handling fee will be applied to all insurance premiums of $5,000 or more. This fee covers the cost of payment processing and will be clearly displayed in your total before you confirm payment. Premiums under $5,000 are not subject to this fee.

 

Privacy and personal information

The personal information you provide (including your name, contact details, and payment data) is collected under the authority of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). It is used solely to process your insurance payment and maintain your policy record.

Your information is shared only with JotForm and Moneris as necessary to complete the transaction, and is not sold, rented, or disclosed to any other third party. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.

 

Security

All payment data is transmitted over an SSL-encrypted connection. Cardholder information is processed exclusively by Moneris, which is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We do not store credit card numbers or security codes on our systems at any time.

 

Cancellations and refunds

If your insurance policy is cancelled, any refund owing will be processed to the original credit card used for payment, subject to the terms of your policy. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days of the cancellation date, depending on your card issuer.

 

Transaction confirmation

Once your payment is approved, you will receive a confirmation by email showing the total amount charged, the transaction date, and a reference number. Please retain this for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, contact us immediately.
